BEVERAGE ICE WRAP

• Beverage wrap can contain ice pack and features a hand strap for ease of use
• Customer provided drawing of his original idea, but many components and details did not work well f
   for sewn products
• Communicated with customer to find end use needs and developed a new design
• Customer wanted USA labor so I worked hard to keep costs competitive
• Used appropriate seams for thick material with high stretch and eliminated unnecessary
   components to lower labor cost
• Fabric was highest percentage of production costs, chose a suitable thickness and focused on
   material utilization during marker making
• Chose a blend comparable to neoprene to keep the comfortable, padded feel of the fabric while
   lowering costs
• Sewing operations designed to reduce bulk and stretch while maintaining attractive appearance
• Grain lines and construction of binding were taken into account to reduce stretch
• Had to work within the facility capabilities as we did not have the appropriate sewing machine
• Created new drawings and sent to the customer for approval
